Valencia Airport (VLC) is located in Manises approximately 20 minutes from Valencia´s city center. The airport is the eighth largest airport in Spain by size and is served by approximately 5.5 million travelers annually. So there are many flights to and from Valencia.

Restaurants, cafes and bars are available to satisfy hunger and thirst while waiting for flights. There is a wide range of shops, a police station, a meditation room and of course first aid. In addition, there is a pharmacy and health center, a money exchange office and a lost goods department. There is also a VIP lounge. Connections to and from Valencia Airport

There are several ways to get to and from the airport.

Car Rental – there are a few choices in the airport for car rental companies.

Metro – There are two metro lines directly from the airport to the centre of Valencia, metro lines 3 and 5. The metro leaves every eight minutes from the ground floor and tickets are available from the ticket machines.

Bus – Every 20 minutes there is a bus to the city centre from the arrivals hall. Buses run from six in the morning to ten in the evening, but the disadvantage is that they stop at a limited number of stops in Valencia.

Taxi – You can also easily grab a taxi which will cost you approximately 20-25 euros to the city center of Valencia. The taxi rank is at the entrance of the terminal.

Airport Shuttle – Another option is the Airport Shuttle, namely the Aero-Bus. This is a lot faster than the city bus. 

To travel cheaply, you can buy a Valencia Tourist Card. One, two or three day cards with unlimited travel by metro and bus in the city are available.
